Meet the Stuart's Opera House Afterschool Music Program (AMP) bands of !

This year, 11 AMP bands will take over the Porch Stage at 11 AM on Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20.

Seeing these students perform at NMF is always one of the most special parts of the weekend, and a reminder of what your support makes possible. All proceeds raised at the festival support not only NMF, but also year-round arts education at Stuart's Opera House, including programs like AMP and the Audio Production Program.

Calling all Nelsonville and Buchtel residents đź“Ł There is one week left to purchase your Nelsonville Music Festival Weekend Pass at a discounted rate of $100!

Don’t miss out on the best weekend of the summer—stop by the Stuart's Opera House box office by Friday, May 29 with the following proof of residency:

1. Valid government issued ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, or photo ID
2. A Nelsonville or Buchtel addressed utility bill, bank statement, or similar correspondence from the last 6 months

The box office is open Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm, but will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. We hope to see all our neighbors at Snow Fork June 18-20!

Still thinking about Mdou Moctar (solo)'s incredible kickoff to our FREE Summer Concert Series! Huge thanks to everyone who came out, to Athens Porchfest for partnering with us, Jackie O's Taproom for hosting, and OHIO Performing Arts & Concert Series and the Baird Brother Foundation for helping make this free concert series possible.

This was just the beginning, so if you haven’t already, make sure to mark your calendars for our next FREE concert: Charlie Parr at the Creekside Stage at Snow Fork Event Center on July 16!

If you missed the 2026 Stuart's Opera House Afterschool Music Program Showcase, we’re excited to share one of the highlights from the afternoon!
