We had a wonderful time handing out NYYL medals and ride wristbands! Thank you NYYL for supporting our kids’ athletic seasons and to all the parents, coaches, and players that made this season such a success!

Even though we’re bummed the game has been canceled today, we can rest easy knowing that even Estel Crabtree had to sit out a game every now and then. Check out this newspaper clipping of Crabtree being carried off the field for a Charlie horse!

Not only that, in August of 1944 towards the end of his career he even missed some games after taking a line drive to the face. Ouch!

The Old Timer Awards and Dinner are ON!

Schedule: SHARE!!

1:30 - Kids Awards on stage behind the Elks (The NYYL and OTBA have 40 Parade of the Hills RIDE WRISTBANDS to give away! Kids come out for a wristband drawing and receive your award from NYYL this year!

Eight hours later… a concerned baseball fan took a walk to the field and sent us this photo of what he found: this Blue Power Ranger has spent all day pushing all the water back to the river where it belongs!

Baseball fans… we just may be back in business!

Welcome to Crabtree Lake! Can you play baseball in kayaks? Asking for a bunch of old timers…

*Stay tuned for updates—and later this weekend, if you have the time, it will be all hands on deck to get the field ready!

We heard all the Old Timers were snug in their beds preparing for the game… so this feels like the perfect time to share some stats from the past EIGHT years!
