Can’t believe we’re already at the last day of Happy Hollow Gathering!

Join us out at Snow Fork to learn old-time fiddle standards, pick up an Ohio tune or two on clawhammer banjo, make a homemade canjo, and more. And we'll be closing out the weekend with performances by Pete and Ellen Vigour; Rhys Jones and Hilarie Burhans; Sharon Leahy and Rick Good; Jim Childress and Hilarie Burhans; Earl White, Adrienne Davis and Mark Olitsky, and another square dance tonight!

Day 2 of the Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering is underway!

We had a blast last night kicking off the weekend with our first round of workshops, a delicious potluck, and jams around camp. Today brings workshops in Folk Herbal Preparations, Ohio Fiddle Tunes, Intro to Two-Finger Banjo, Old-Time Guitar, Broom Making, and much more.

Tonight, catch our first concert featuring Janie Rothfield and Allan Carr; Paul Kirk, Mark McNulty, and Stephen Rapp; John Harrod and Tona Barkley; and Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones, followed by a square dance called by Sharon Leahy and Rick Good. And of course, there will be plenty of jams to jump in and play or just find a spot to listen and enjoy!

Come join us for the day or stay for the weekend!

Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering is almost here! 🪕🍂 We can't wait to welcome you all to Snow Fork Event Center, September 24–27.

Southeast Ohio saw some heavy storms over the past few days, but the forecast for this weekend is looking beautiful. Because of the recent rain, we’ve moved the gathering to drier ground at the venue, so please follow the signage when you arrive. We still recommend bringing boots, and if you’re camping, tarps and outdoor rugs. If you do get a little muddy, free showers are available on-site, so be sure to pack a towel too!

We’re looking forward to a weekend full of old-time tunes, dancing, and great company. Grab your passes now, and we’ll see you soon! happyhollowoldtime.org
