Tiger Tailgating

After two long weeks we finally have another home game and tailgate. This week Darrell is cooking Boston Butts and making pulled pork sandwiches. We are going to have buns from Grayson's for the sandwiches. Stephen Lirette is making a court bouillon and we will also have smoked sausage. If the freshmen parents could bring desserts, sophomore parents bring side dishes, and junior/senior parents bring drinks, mayo, mustard, bbq sauce, plates, bowls, silverware,etc (we still have plenty of paper towels). GEAUX Tigers!

This week Mr. Pete Leone and Mr. Tony Leone will be frying fish and Stephen Lirette is cooking an alligator sauce piquante. Parents need to bring the following for Thursday's game:

Freshmen: desserts
Sophomores: French fries and rice. I think 30 pounds of fries will be good and a couple things of rice. If possible, please have fries there by 5:00-5:15 so we can have time to cook them.
Jr/Sr's: Drinks (water, soft drinks, and beer(this is a big crowd getter so bring plenty)), plates, bowls, ketchup (a lot), tartar sauce, forks, spoons, and tobasco/la hot sauce. We have paper towels from last week so no need for those.

We may start eating a little before 6:00. It will just be when we get enough ready and not let the fish get cold.

The SMS Tailgate team is rested and ready to go this Friday before the FIRST playoff game. As we all eagerly look toward the ultimate finish in the dome, let's continue to enjoy this ride.

Jody Woodard is serving up his spectacular chicken and sausage gumbo, Kirk Leone & family is providing deer hams like last time, and if your mouth is not watering yet, Steve Lirette is cooking blazing shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp and other stuffed meats (pork loin, catfish, deer)...and, of course, deserts will be provided.

Water and soft drinks will be available. TAA is providing all this so people can just come without worrying about bringing anything. Will also have hot chocolate. It will be cold weather but hopefully this won't deter people from coming out.

So many people help pull the tailgates together and there is hope, each week, that the parking lot continues to be full of fun and friendship.

Please bring your families to enjoy it and make some noise for your Tigers!

The St Mary's Athletic Association is taking the tailgating on the road to Montgomery this Friday.

Hamburgers and hot dogs are being grilled.
Once again, we are needing a team effort to pull this all together and need football parents to assist in the following areas:
SR parents - desserts
SO/JR parents - meat,
buns & condiments
FR parents - chips & dip Everyone needs to bring their own drinks.
Will be eating around 5:45-6:45 but we want everyone to arrive by 5:30 to have plenty of time.

Ok Tiger fans we have a BIG game Thursday night!!! We want to have a BIG turnout to line up at 5:00 when our boys get off the bus to cheer them to Victory. We are having bar-b-que chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, green beans. We are asking each class to bring the following:
Seniors-desserts
Juniors-drinks
Sophomores-bread
Freshmen-chips and dip
