I had 2 Christmas miracles happen on christmas eve. After disco dancing at The Hop in Webster last Saturday night in our Santa Attires, we stayed an extra hour to 12:30 am. Yes Santa Eric and wife Rong Meiyu can cut a rug. It is amazing that young to old white to black people and both genders cone up and tell me that we have some great uniquenes moves sdance. I just move to the beat and lyrics. The very last song, I felt a horrible pain in my upper pelvic and groin. It was sharp. I never broke a hip nor did I fall while dancing. It fell that I did. We left, my wife had to drive one. I could barely walk up the 3 story stairs with letting a hurt ouch sound one the 60 steps it take doing that task.
The next morning Ai woke up and could not walk to the bathroom. My wife fetched a bottle for me. I knew someone was seriously wrong with me. How can I do the rest of my Santa visits the next 4 days Sunday through We Wednesday Christmas Eve. I had to get others to fill my Santa obligations each day.
I knew to stay off of it. I did not want to go down the stairs just to come back in agony.
I sent a message to my PPO to get a referral for a pain pelvic doctor. On the internet on my phone, I I researched the signs and the symptoms of pelvic pain. I concluded that I had a Sport Hernia injury like soccer and football players get when they suddenly turn their bodies opposite and suddenly the other way. I was doing that in my dance moves. It will rake 4 to 6 weeks plus then physical therapy and if it persists surgery. HOLY Moly. I am totally screwed on my santa events and plans for CHRISTMAS DAY.
I LOOKED UP THE MEDICINE I WOULD NEED TO LESSEN THE PAIN. REDUCE THE SWELLING AND TO GET WELL FASTTElR THEN 4 to 6 WEEKS. It was Sunday, so I started to rest it, ice it, and not get up.
Period I had neprozen, cpac steroids, hot cold pain patches and a few leftover painkillers to start my regiment. I was in horrific pain until the morning of Christmas Eve with numerous prayers from a limited support group. I was pain-free and was thanking God and Jesus. I could not believe it, but I have faith. This was the my 1st Christmas miracle.
