This Saturday night, we honor a true icon. ❤️ Saturday evening’s Grand Ole Opry will be dedicated to Dolly Parton, recognizing her extraordinary life, legacy, and contributions to country music. In honor of Dolly’s incredible spirit of giving, a portion of ticket sales for Saturday’s show will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Join us in person or listen live on as we celebrate the life of a legend!

Dolly Parton brought smiles to so many faces. She had a life so well lived that it is hard to be too sad and think of her at the same time. I imagine that is just how she would want it to be. I think I can speak for any of you that we are a bit heartbroken for her family, her friends, for the many lives she touched, and all of us. If anyone deserves to be with the angels, it was this amazing woman he did God's work and treat EVERYONE as his child.

Thomas Rhett watched his father's lifelong dream come true at the Grand Ole Opry, and his words afterward said everything.

Jon Pardi surprised Rhett Akins during 90s Country Night by walking on stage and telling him, "You've always been family to me, but I'm here to invite you to be part of a different family. Rhett Akins, I am here to invite you to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry."

Akins dropped to the floor. His wife, Sonya, his daughter, Kasey Lee, his six-year-old son, Brody, and Thomas Rhett all rushed the stage. Thomas Rhett stood with his hands on his head in disbelief.

When the man who has written over 30 number one hits finally found his words, he said, "All I do all day is write words. I can't think of any right now, other than Thank you, Lord Jesus."

Thomas Rhett later wrote, "Dad I'm so proud of you. I love you. You deserve this."

I can't wait. If you didn't take advantage of the discount ticket opportunities I posted last week you still have time to get tickets through Mode Stadium Stateline Speedway, and the Rock School NW. Montgomery Gentry puts on a high energy patriotic show. The musicians are top notch. You are guaranteed to have a great time. Local Payton Rae Artist brings her powerhouse vocals to one of her rare Idaho shows. Come see her while you still can. Payton is balancing her time between the INW and Nashville for now.
