Jim DeBerry CEO of Cool Zoo introduced us to Boing the kangaroo and Swampy the alligator, two of the exotic animals that are a part of the Nashville Pet Expo, Cool Zoo wildlife exhibit.

Bring your Pet for $5 and see the best in the Home Improvement, Select Pet Vendors plus Cool Zoo Kangaroo, Sloth, Caiman, Snake, Hermit Crabs, and Ferrets and put your dog on the Dogloversdays luring course.

From East (Knoxville area) Take I-40 West to I-440 West follow to exit 6 (Nolensville Pike), turn right, go 1 mile and Fairgrounds will be on your left.

From West (Memphis area) Take I-40 East to I-440 East follow to exit 6 (Nolensville Pike), turn left, go 1 mile and Fairgrounds will be on your left.

From Southeast (Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Atlanta) Take I-24 West to I-440 West follow to exit 6 (Nolensville Pike), turn right, go 1 mile and Fairgrounds will be on your left.

From Northwest (Clarksville, Ft Campbell) Take I-24 East to I-65 South to Exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left and go 1 mile to Fairgrounds.

From South (Alabama) Take I-65 North to Exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn right and go 1 mile to Fairgrounds.

From North (Bowling Green, Kentucky, Indiana) Take I-65 south to exit 81 (Wedgewood Ave.), turn left and go one mile to Fairgrounds.

This Weekend! Come out to the Nashville Pet Show & Home Expo
It's FREE to attend for people and $5 per pet to bring with you to shop and enjoy the experience.

This event is August 13th and 14th (Saturday and Sunday) from 10am-4pm at the Nashville Fairgrounds, located at 625 Smith Ave, Nashville, TN 37203

Feature Exhibits
Include Dogloversdays Dog Luring Course where guest can put their Dog on a luring track.

Plus

Cool Zoo will have a FREE to guest Exotic Animal Walk-Thru.
Guest will be able to see Kangaroos, Sloths, Caiman (South American version of Crocodiles / Alligators) Giant Tortoises, Macaw Parrots from the Movies/TV, Hermit Crabs, among others.

Bragging Rights Pet Contest 3pm each day. Dress your pet up, show off his/her haircut, or just enter them because you're proud of your furry family member.

Guest will have a chance to meet Pet Exhibitors such as Pet Wants Nashville South Music City Animal Rescue It's all about the pup, Dogingham Palace Rescue, 4 Paws Canine Training, Cat Rescues, among others

This year, the Nashville Pet Show is combined with the Home Show. It's two shows in one! Guest will have an opportunity to meet Local vendors in Home Improvement. Thanks to the participating home show vendors, we were able to waive the admission to the Pet Show and Cool Zoo Walk Through.

***Pets cannot enter the zoo zone, including service animals ****
*** we will check for legitimate service dog information, please respect the rules and pay the $5 per pet if it is not a legitimate service dog, please do not hurt the cause, be a helper****
***Pet Contest will happen at 3pm***
*** Cool Zoo is a FREE educational walk-thru experience, not a petting zoo. Select animal ambassadors will be out for PAID photo ops for select times (sloth, kangaroo, goats, tortoises, caimans). These times will vary based on how the animal feels, with the proceeds going to expand the Cool Zoo Wildlife Center, Wildlife Research, and Conservation.**

Meet avian specialist and celebrity birds as seen on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, countless programs The Exotic Bird Show will be at the Nashville Pet Show & Home Show doing photographs all day!

Hermit Crab Adoptions by Mister Crabs will be all weekend long. Mister Crabs Hermit Crab Conservation is the largest hermit crab sanctuary and rescue in the United States and only facility in the US to be known to commercially produce hermit crabs that have never been harvested from the wild.

Plus see the Sloth Encounter, Giant Snake Encounter, Caiman Alligator Program, Kangaroos and other popular rescue and fundraising programs that benefit wildlife.
