IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE from the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce:
Due to the pending tropical storm turning into a category 1 hurricane with the potential of sustained winds in excess of 38mph, the decision was made to cancel the Calamari Cookoff and music events on Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16, 2023.
This is also the result of the 60’ X 120’ tent needed throughout the weekend for scheduled events posing significant safety concerns documented by the tent company.
Refunds will be issued to all ticket holders for Calamari Fest shortly.
There will still be a number of events occurring throughout town as part of Gansett Days Please see below.
Thank you all for your support in the planning of this event. We know this is less than ideal, but the safety of our attendees, our vendors, our staff, and all that would be visiting this weekend is our main concern.
