By day, they are just regular people: dedicated teachers, sharp-tongued attorneys, exhausted parents, and empathetic therapists. But when the sun goes down, the briefcases and diaper bags are swapped for microphones. Founded in 2024, this powerhouse collective of 14 talented singers and vocal percussionists from all over the Chicago area is proof that "pitch-perfect" dreams don’t have an expiration date. Since their debut, they have dominated the local scene with a string of sold-out shows, proving that their harmonies are as tight as their schedules. Catch them hitting the big leagues this spring when they perform the National Anthem at Wrigley Field for the 3/30 Cubs game!

Four weeks to go until the 2026 Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes A Ca****la Festival, and we're introducing you to the amazing groups who will be performing at this year's show!

First up, meet The Peppermint Patties!

Founded in 2018, The Peppermint Patties met at DePaul University while pursuing degrees in vocal performance. They all have professional training in opera and musical theater and perform close-harmony vocal arrangements in Chicago and across the Midwest. The Patties' shows feature a wide variety of genres including songs made popular by the Andrews Sisters, jazz standards, golden age musical theater songs, a ca****la, pop music and quirky covers. Happy new year, Chicagoland a ca****la friends, fans, and fellow singers! 2026 brings many opportunities for performances in the greater Chicagoland area, but none bigger than the Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes! This is our favorite event of the year, and we'd love to see some local Chicago-based groups participate!

Calling all Midwest vocal groups! We're looking for the NEXT BIG THING in a ca****la! Want to showcase your group in front of 600+ a ca****la loving audience members? Want to share the stage with national sensations Vocalight who will guest host the show? Want to follow in the footsteps Remedy and Radius and become the next Harmony Sweepstakes National Champs?

Join us to perform and compete at aka the 2026 Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes A Ca****la Festival! All vocal styles, ages, and experience levels are invited to apply. Group sizes 3-12 members. Submit your group ASAP, lineup to be announced the first week of February.
