Summer and fall 2026 performing arts classes at Napa Valley College are now open for enrollment and we'd love to have you with us.

Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time, returning to an ensemble, diving into film, or playing an instrument, our programs are designed for students at every level. Music ensembles, theater arts, applied music lessons, film studies, and more all taught by working professional artists in a real performing arts environment.

Something exciting is coming to Napa Valley College Performing Arts. On May 1, we'll be announcing our full 2026–27 season. We've been planning all year, and we can't wait to share what's ahead.

What can you expect? Beloved traditions that our audiences enjoy year after year, bold new collaborations that bring fresh voices and perspectives to our stages, and programming that spans theater, music, and film. We'll have details on our ensemble concerts, an exciting partnership with Cafeteria Kids Theater, a mainstage play, a spring musical, and a landmark choral event that will bring together singers from across the valley.

Some of the greatest music ever written was composed by young people who had no idea they were changing the world.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Festival Napa Valley, you can hear that story told live on April 24, when Symphony Tierra presents “Youthful Genius” at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center. Festival Napa Valley’s commitment to bringing world-class music to this community is what makes concerts like this one possible, and we are profoundly grateful for their support.

Symphony Tierra is itself a singular kind of ensemble: a coming-together of professional musicians, educators, students and community players united for a single, carefully curated program. That project-based spirit gives each concert its own character and energy, and this one is no exception. Under the direction of conductor Samantha Burgess, one of the most compelling figures on the Bay Area podium today, the orchestra brings a program that spans three centuries and three very different creative visions.
