Outer Banks Seafood Festival October 17, 2026 from 10 AM - 6 PM. Plenty of seafood, live music, local arts and crafts vendors, and so much more! The Outer Banks is known for its seafood.

This annual event raises funds for our local fishing industry through the Outer Banks Community Foundation. But before the seafood can be served, it has to be brought to market. For generations, hard working families on the Outer Banks have been doing just that, giving their all to bring fresh, local seafood to your table. This fall, on October 18th, join us as we celebrate their efforts and our long-standing fishing heritage. The Festival also showcases a variety of tasty seafood creations prepared by some of the Outer Banks’ best restaurants. There will be entertainment throughout the event with music; cooking demonstrations; friendly competitions; and all manner of family fun – all relating to seafood. We hope you can join us!

Along the way, I’ll share a little of the Outer Banks’ culinary story through the eyes of a chef who’s helped shape it. The fishermen, the flavors, and the creativity that have made this coast such a special place to cook and eat.

📅We are only 2 weeks away! If you're starting to plan your arrival to the festival, here's what you need to know.

There is no onsite parking, but FREE shuttles will be running from designated offsite parking locations. Only buses will be allowed to drive into the event site. Individual vehicles will not be allowed to drop off passengers. Walking and biking are encouraged, too! 🚌🚲
