We are looking for interest in a possible mystery fun run this summer where all the proceeds would go to the Local Nacogdoches Law Enforcement Foundation.

The way it would work. Each participant would give us their size and at the completion of the race you would grab a brown bag with your shirt size on it. The shirts would be from all of our past races. You may or may not get your size if the size isn’t available but you would get to choose the next available size of your choice. You also wouldn’t know which shirt is inside the bag. We also have some different swag such as cups.

The medals would also be from our past races. Each finisher would get a medal but it would be from a past race and each person may not get the same medal.

The race would be untimed.

The top three female and males would win an award. There would be no age group awards.

Considering starting at the Charter School and running the two mile loop up Austin, University, up College and back to the Charter.

Effective immediately, all proceeds from the 2nd Annual Back the Blue Drive Thru BBQ Fundraiser will help us provide charitable support in response to the recent medical emergency involving Officer Spencer Tutt with the Nacogdoches Police Department.

Last night, Officer Tutt experienced a cardiac emergency that required first responders to perform CPR and utilize an AED to stabilize him. He is currently stable in Tyler with his family as he continues receiving care.

Many of you know the Tutt family and the challenges they have faced over the past year. Between two medical emergencies and their 10-year-old son Mason’s ongoing leukemia treatments, they have spent countless hours on the road and have carried significant medical expenses. NACLEF has supported the Tutt family before, but after last night’s events, we felt a responsibility to do more.

The original intent of this BBQ was to raise funds to support our programs. However, we feel called to use this event to support a family that has shown remarkable resiliency through so many challenges. Every plate ordered and every donation made will help strengthen NACLEF’s ability to carry out its mission of providing emergency benevolence to our law enforcement families, with immediate support being provided to the Tutt family.

Officer Tutt has been a member of the Nacogdoches Police Department for 10 years.

PTW is proud to present Sacred Heart Catholic Church with $5,500 in support of the Multicultural Festival! Thank you to all who ran and supported this race!! We couldn’t do it without you! Also a special thanks to Amanda Allen for all the hard work she puts into this race as well! Her commitment and involvement is highly valued!

We are delighted to announce our forthcoming racing schedule, featuring the Dia De Los Mu***os 5K and an added 1-mile fun run that requires participants to don inflatable costumes, as well as a new starting point for the Jingle Bell Run. The Dia De Los Mu***os 5K and 1-mile fun run will take place on October 31st, commencing at Fredonia Brewery. Meanwhile, the Jingle Bell Run is scheduled for December 5th, with its starting point set at Aperitivo Café and Gelato!!! We look forward to seeing you all there! Thank you again to all who supported and ran the Multicultural 5K/1 Miler! We just love the spirit of our community, the kindness of our runners and bringing family oriented runs to our community while also supporting local events and causes such as the Multicultural festival! We love what we do! See you all at the next one:)!
