Meet the cast of Ghoul Vibrations 2026!

We’re celebrating 5 seasons of Ghoul Vibrations with another incredible cast ready to bring the scares, thrills, and spooky fun back to life this October!

But first… catch the ghouls Thursday, October 1st at The Boo-Ginning, kicking off The City of Halloween in Conway! 🎃

Then we officially open Friday, October 2nd at Lakewood Camping Resort!

✨ Meet the Cast: Owen Egloff ✨

It’s our final Meet the Cast AND our final show day! We’re wrapping up the series with a familiar face, Owen Egloff, celebrating his fifth season with High Steppin’ Country!

A Conway native and graduate of Carolina Forest High School, Owen’s performing journey has taken him beyond the HSC stage to Universal Orlando, where he has performed as part of Halloween Horror Nights and the Universal Holiday Parade.

After five seasons with HSC, Owen says his favorite part of this year’s show is our Decades section, where he gets to perform some of his favorite songs and artists while sharing the energy of the set with his fellow cast members. His favorite HSC song from the last 50 years is “Faithfully” by Journey.

Outside of performing, Owen enjoys photography, listening to music, and swimming. We’re so grateful to have him back on our stage for another summer and as part of this incredibly special 50th Anniversary cast!

And just like that, you’ve officially met our entire 2026 cast. Now there’s only ONE MORE SHOW! 🎉

✨ Meet the Cast: Sydney Gifford ✨

Four seasons, countless performances, and plenty of HSC memories along the way! Meet Sydney Gifford, returning to the High Steppin’ Country stage for her fourth season.

A Myrtle Beach native and 2026 graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Sydney earned her degree in Commercial Music and Jazz. Her time performing locally also includes Ghoul Vibrations right here at Lakewood and POP 101 at Coastal Carolina.

Sydney’s favorite part of HSC is our Iconic Country section because it gives her the opportunity to slow down, connect with the audience, and share special moments on stage with her fellow cast members. And when she’s not performing with HSC, you can find her gigging around Myrtle Beach, reading, or spending time at the beach.

Her favorite HSC song from the last 50 years is “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” and we’re so grateful Sydney has spent four of those years making memories with us!

Now there are only TWO more chances to see Sydney and the rest of our 50th Anniversary cast! 🎤

✨ Meet the Cast: Josiah Cardenas ✨

Back for round two! We’re so excited to have Josiah Cardenas returning to the High Steppin’ Country stage for his second season!

Originally from Wilkes County, North Carolina, Josiah is a member of the UNC Charlotte Class of 2029. Before joining HSC, he appeared in productions of Sister Act, Footloose, and Mamma Mia! throughout high school. Josiah has also spent time performing right here at Lakewood as part of Ghoul Vibrations, making Lakewood a familiar stage for him beyond the summer season!

Josiah’s favorite part of HSC is our Iconic Country section because of its timeless music and high energy performances. When he’s not on stage, he loves thrifting, traveling, trying new foods, and finding his next new experience.

His favorite HSC song from the last 50 years is “Friends in Low Places,” and after two seasons, Josiah is especially thankful for his family and the entire High Steppin’ Country team for helping him grow into the performer he is today.

We’re so glad Josiah came back for another summer, and you only have two more chances to catch him and the rest of our cast on stage!

✨ Meet the Cast: Ashlyn Cady ✨

A brand new face, a love for country music, and probably a little bit of rhinestone somewhere nearby. ✨ Meet Ashlyn Cady!

Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Ashlyn is making her High Steppin’ Country debut this season before beginning her freshman year at Coastal Carolina University. Before joining HSC, she spent three years as a South Florence Choralier and performed in productions including The King and I, Aladdin Jr., Matilda, Cinderella, Legally Blonde, and The Little Mermaid at Florence Little Theatre.

Ashlyn’s favorite part of HSC is our Country section because the music reminds her of the songs her parents played while she was growing up. And when she’s not performing, you can find her at the beach, fishing, hunting, trying new foods, spending time with friends, or rhinestoning just about everything she owns! ✨

We’ve loved welcoming Ashlyn into the HSC family for our 50th Anniversary season, and we can’t wait to see where her next chapter takes her!

✨ Meet the Cast: Ethan Benezra ✨

A first season, a big summer, and an exciting next chapter ahead! Meet Ethan Benezra, making his High Steppin’ Country debut during our 50th Anniversary season!

A Myrtle Beach native and recent graduate of Myrtle Beach High School, Ethan is headed to Molloy University/CAP21 this fall. His previous credits include Big Fish, Guys and Dolls, Shrek, and Once Upon a Mattress, along with numerous productions at theaters throughout the Grand Strand.

Ethan’s favorite part of HSC is our Decades section, where he loves capturing the different energy and style of music from each era. When he’s not performing, you’ll probably find him playing guitar, hanging out with friends, or playing soccer.

We’ve loved having Ethan join the HSC family this season, and there are only two more chances to see him and the rest of our cast take the stage!

✨ Meet the Cast: Abbi Kipe ✨

Ready to step in wherever she’s needed, meet our female swing, Abbi Kipe!

Making her High Steppin’ Country debut this season, Abbi is a rising senior at Socastee High School and has spent years performing through her school’s Show Choir and productions including On the Town. She also recently appeared in Frozen the Musical at Theatre of the Republic.

As our female swing, Abbi has taken on the challenge of learning multiple roles throughout the show, making sure she’s ready to jump in whenever needed. Her favorite part of HSC is our Decades section because of the variety of dance styles, fun choreography, and unforgettable music.

When she’s not performing, Abbi loves spending time at the beach and making memories with her friends and family. We’re so happy to have her as part of the HSC family for our 50th Anniversary season!

A new face has joined the High Steppin’ Country family this summer! Meet Evan Stage, making his HSC debut during our 50th Anniversary season.

Originally from Plain City, Ohio, Evan is a rising senior at Coastal Carolina University. His recent stage credits include Grease and Carrie at CCU, as well as Frozen at Theatre of the Republic.

Evan’s favorite part of the show is our Decades section. He loves the challenge of stepping into the different styles and energy that make each era unique. When he’s not performing, Evan enjoys thrifting, cooking, and spending time with his friends and family.
