👽✨ THIS is what Magic at the Beach is all about! ✨👽

We received this wonderful message from Ray Lucas & Mary Burger after this year’s convention, and it meant so much to us that we wanted to share it.

💬 “I just wanted to again say how much we enjoyed this convention. I have attended many magic conventions and seen ‘cliques’ of groups and talent that ignore most attendees.

However, this was not the case at this convention. We met many of the attendees and talked magic or just general small talk. The talent was more than willing to talk magic, joke around and be friendly.

Of course, Charles was absolutely the most approachable. And he went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, make the amateurs look good for their performances, and highlight the most entertaining talent.

The theming and ‘extras’ — costumed characters, photo ops and after-show parties — were just icing on the cake!

One of the things we’ve always wanted Magic at the Beach to be is a convention where there isn’t a wall between the performers and attendees. A place where you can watch someone perform or lecture, then find yourself sitting around later talking magic, swapping stories and laughing together.

And yes… we’re already working on Magic at the Beach 2027. 🎩✨

👽✨ WHAT AN INVASION! ✨👽
Three days. Thousands of smiles. A little chaos. A lot of laughter. And frankly, more magic than should probably be allowed in one building.

Magic at the Beach 2026 is officially in the books—and what a three days it was.

A massive THANK YOU to every performer, lecturer, dealer, and every single person who helped make this weekend happen.
A very special thank you to Dave Tanner, Gerry Thompson, and Eric Hall, and to our incredible Wonders Theatre crew and dancers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make everything look as though we actually knew what we were doing.
Because putting on three days like this is no small thing.
Schedules. Shows. Lectures. Dealers. Sound. Lights. Food. Registration. Badges.

And the same 100 people asking, “What time does the next thing start?” approximately 400 times.

Somehow, it all works.
And that’s because of the people.
Most of all, thank you to all of you who came to be part of it.
The people who come back every year.
The people who bring their friends.
And the people who joined us for the first time this year and thought:
Well… these people are a bit strange.
You’re correct.

But hopefully you’ll come back anyway.

Because somewhere along the way, something wonderful happened.

Familiar faces became friends.
Those friends brought more friends.
And those people became familiar faces too.
Before you know it, you’re not really coming to a magic convention anymore.
You’re coming back to see your friends.

That’s what Magic at the Beach has become.
A family.
A slightly odd family, admittedly.
But a family. ❤️

And of course, there was plenty of actual magic too.
This year, the aliens even got involved. 👽🛸
They invaded Wonders Theatre, took us OUT OF THIS WORLD, abducted absolutely no one that we’re legally required to report, and appeared to have a bloody good time doing it.

What an amazing three days.
Thank you for the laughter.
The applause.
The energy.
The late-night conversations.
And most importantly, the friendships that make Magic at the Beach what it is.
We love seeing you.
We love having you here.

And we’ll see you back at the beach next year.
Now, if anyone knows where the aliens parked their spaceship, please let us know.

We’d quite like to have them back.
Although next year…
they’re paying registration. 🛸👽
