Course Information:

This year we are keeping it on the Boardwalk as the Awesome 80’s Summer Solstice Run/Walk goes from Sand to Pavement.

Because of nearby Beach Refurbishment we have had to change our run from the Beach to the Boardwalk! We are still starting and finishing in Plyler Park but will be going south on the boardwalk just past Wicked Tuna and turning around to come back to our starting area finishing through the Arch. The run will be approximately 2 miles and while untimed we will have a clock with the running time at the finish.

Please note this is an out and back course on the Boardwalk and it will at times be crowded. Please be respectful of each other and move to the side if needed. There will be an NS Staff member at the turnaround to get you started back toward the finish.

REMINDER:

We are collecting Food Items for Backpack Buddies. Please consider bringing those to packet pickup on Saturday or the race on Sunday. There will be a representative from Backpack Buddies there to collect them. Any contribution will be appreciated as they continue their efforts to aid hungry children in the Grand Strand Area

Backpack Buddies Needs Your Help!!!

We are proud to partner with Backpack Buddies to fight hunger in the Grand Strand.

At this Sundays Awesome 80s Summer Solstice Boardwalk Run Backpack Buddies will be on hand to collect donated items that will greatly help in their effort to fight hunger.

Please consider bringing along canned items, single serve oatmeal, peanut butter and jelly, crackers, etc

We will be collecting items at both our Packet Pickup on Saturday and our Race on Sunday.

Any donation would be appreciated!!!
