The Sarasota Medieval Fair is proud to reveal the official scenario for this year's 22nd Anniversary Season:

🏰 Siege of Paris – 845 AD - Vikings vs. French

The year is 845 AD, and the gates of Paris tremble. From the misty rivers of the north, longships glide toward the heart of the Frankish kingdom. At their helm stands the legendary Norse war leader Ragnar Sigurdsson, leading a fearsome Viking force in one of the most daring raids of the Viking Age.

As Viking warriors descend upon Paris, King Charles the Bald faces an impossible choice: defend his realm against overwhelming odds or pay a king's ransom to save the city from destruction.

This November, witness the clash of steel, the roar of battle, and the drama of history brought vividly to life throughout the Sarasota Medieval Fair. Encounter Vikings, nobles, warriors, and legendary characters as our 22nd Anniversary Scenario unfolds across the Woods of Mallaranny.

History isn't just told... it's felt.

In the Woods of Mallaranny, where the sun feeds the honey and the sea salt rides the breeze, the bees of Sarasota were said to craft nectar unlike any other.

Legend tells of a bold tavern keeper who united sweet golden mead with crisp McKenzie cider, creating a drink both smooth and spirited. Sweet upon the first sip, bright on the tongue, and hiding a playful bite beneath its charm.
