Over 10,000 people flock to Hackley Park each Labor Day weekend for pierogi, polka bands, and a celebration that's raised more than $70,000 for local nonprofits. Here's everything happening September 4-5.

Please pray for Lucy Preston and her family.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and dedicated community member, Lucy Maciejewski Preston.

Lucy was a vibrant and cherished part of the Polish Heritage Society, and she served our community with incredible passion as our Busia Queen during her reign in 2023. She generously committed herself to the restoration of the Jackson Street Hall, which was just one of many acts of kindness she offered throughout her life in the community; to be around her warm spirit was truly a beautiful place to be. She famously said that "being Busia Queen means being everyone's Busia," and she lived out those words through her kindness and dedication to our society.

We are holding her entire family close in our hearts during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

All strawberry shortcake proceeds support the Muskegon Polish Festival.

Burgers are sold by the Knights of Columbus and are not a Muskegon Polish Festival fundraiser.

Today, we’re remembering and honoring the people who gave their lives serving our country. 🇺🇸❤️

We hope everyone takes a moment this Memorial Day to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. We’re thinking of all the families carrying the weight of that loss today and every day.

Today we’re celebrating all of the incredible moms, grandmas, babcias, and mother figures who keep our traditions alive through family, food, music, and love. Thank you for the memories you create and the joy you bring to our Muskegon Polish Fest family year after year.
