This Jackson Concert Series event is free to attend (no tickets). Vocal Point is BYU's world-renowned seven-man ensemble and has been identified as one of the “greatest college a ca****la groups of all time.” Noteworthy is a powerhouse BYU ensemble comprising seven phenomenal female vocalists. These groups’ repertoire spans pop, rock, country, jazz, hymns, hip-hop, and R & B.

Coming up on March 6 at 7pm, we will welcome OPERA Iowa and their production of Cinderella! Since 1987, OPERA Iowa, Des Moines Metro Opera's music education program, has traveled across the state and beyond to bring professional opera performances and workshops to over one million students and adults. We are excited to be a part of their 40th anniversary tour.

On Friday, November 7 at 7pm, the St. Ambrose University Chorale & Chamber Singers will be giving a free Jackson concert at Wesley United Methodist Church in Muscatine! The Chorale performs works from all time periods, with an emphasis on contemporary choral works by American and international composers, as well as choral-orchestral masterworks. The Chamber Singers are an auditioned group specializing in music of the Renaissance and early Baroque, as well as American folk hymn arrangements and spirituals. Both groups are led by Dr. Nathan Windt, Professor of Music at St. Ambrose University.
