Pickers and grinners, our buddy Jansens Blevins will be keeping the music flowing at Room 5 Piano Bar while I'm on the road! The pickin' starts about 8:30 tonight over there! I'm playing Follywood tonight on Folly Beach!

The open mic sessions are how we make a strong music scene here in Muncie! Keep supporting these venues and musicians!

Tomorrow Jerry Barker will host the open mic at Heorot!

As we roll out the next steps of this project, I just wanted to share these photos from when we launched Common Market and began our work on revitalizing this neighborhood. It was 2014, and almost everyone told me it would never work. There was no support, we don't say this to be victims. We say this to share the reality of what it was like in 2014!

The new apartments had not even been announced yet at The old GM Plant on 8th St. There was no support from any organizations or government support, we were on our own but 100% committed. This is just a reminder that we've been here and will be here.

So, when we lay out the plans for the future know that it may take us another 10 years! 2014 to 2024 has been a heck of a ride! Thank you Muncie, you've had our back and we have yours too!
