Oktoberfest Muenster The Muenster Oktoberfest will provide a taste of Germany right here in North Texas. ft. German Heritage Pavilion. Fun for the whole family.

Oktoberfest is coming to Muenster on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 1, 2, & 3, 2021 This indoor festival will be held in our new 60,000 sq. The Muenster Oktoberfest will provide a taste of Germany right here in North Texas with German food vendors, and of course, great German beer. You will find quality arts and craft vendors many with German items for sale. Bring your dancing shoes because

we will have entertainment all day long with a variety of Polka, Jazz and live bands. The festivities begin on Friday at 4pm with music, food and contests. The official taping of the Oktoberfest keg will be at noon on Saturday. There will be Wiener Dog Races on Sunday at 2:00pm. Traditional German Dancers will entertain and educate the crowd with performances throughout the day. Make plans to attend this great Oktoberfest event.

SURPRISE! I have more photos from the Dachshund Dash! Mark your calendars for April 24th-26th, 2026! Germanfest is celebrating its 50th in Muenster, and it will be a grand celebration! The committee would like the Chamber of Commerce to host another Dachshund Dash on the 26th! This will be our 2nd Germanfest! We are so excited and can't wait to see you all there! You are our Doxie family!💖

In a race against which team can come in with the least amount of beer spilled from a plastic stein AND the fastest time wins! What is the worst nail to hammer? Your fingernail!!! 🤣

For the 36th year in a row, our local Nagel Schlagen family is hosting this popular event at Oktoberfest!

Originating in Bavaria as "Nagelbalken," a nail-driving pastime once used to ward off hangovers, the game was a test of strength and accuracy for woodworkers and blacksmiths. Brought to the US in the 50s, it was renamed "Hammer-Schlagen". So grab a hammer, hit the stump, and race your friends to sink that nail! Loser buys the next round!
