Maryland’s Poet Laureate, Lady Brion, delivered a powerful program of slam poetry and spoken word at the 2026 Victorian Chautauqua. Her high-energy performance touched on subjects ranging from social commentary to self-doubt, accomplishment, and introspection, with moments of dark reflection and notes of levity. The audience often audibly responded throughout, affirming her as a brilliant orator of our time.

The Oracalistic Mystic, Abacus Haste, offered readings this year at the Victorian Chautauqua. She is also a third-generation a ca****la singer and is offering a private tutoring "Back to School" program for kids ages 5-10.

August 22-25.

Daily tuition is $222 and full tuition is $777. Hours are 2:00-5:00 PM with a provided lunch that includes organic fruit and gluten-free snacks.
