Midwest Old Threshers Sweet Sixteen Sweet 16 contest is a volunteer-based contest at the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. The contest

Sweet Sixteen contestants are the official hostesses of the Reunion. Each contestant volunteers in numerous positions around the Old Threshers grounds, such as assisting our guests, answering questions, and lending a helping hand to our many non-profit organizations’ booths. Each of the contestants is judged on their volunteerism, a presentation along with an interview, knowledge of Old Threshers,

and their overall hospitality. The Sweet Sixteen contestants can be seen at the Harvest Parade, at the Carousel, the Paul Anderson Building, and strolling the grounds in the period dress for women of the late 1800s to early 1900s who lived in the Midwest and worked on their local farms.

Wednesday we kicked off the reunion countdown with the announcement of the entertainment at the Live after 5 event. Our lovely ladies helped serve our meal before we heard the announcement of the reunion’s grandstand entertainment. The ladies were excited to hear Dylan Scott would be there. Make sure to grab your tickets now, I am sure he will be a sell out.

Friday night our girls volunteered at the Friends of HCHC Soup Supper. Also on Friday night our 2nd runner up Isabella participated in her school play and was amazing! Thank you to the Friends of HCHC for giving our girls this opportunity and thank you to our girls for their volunteerism!
