“Building Aviation Leaders of Tomorrow”

You’re invited to attend – Free!!!

Maury County Residents, October 1st - Lets end this year off with a fun-filled and enjoyable day for everyone! A Maury County Youth Aviation Summit is being planned for Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Maury County Regional Airport. This event will expose youth between the ages of 9 and 17 to different areas of AVIATION! Maury County Youth Aviation Summit will give our youth an opportunity to attend informational workshops – aviation speakers, getting started in aviation, airplane/drone building, and flight simulation building. In addition, there will be access to real flight simulators and static airplane displays from local pilots and Columbia RC Flying Modelers. Columbia RC Flying Modelers will also provide demo RC flights to any interested youth.

The purpose of this event is to increase the awareness of the opportunities that exist in the field of aviation, as youth make their career decisions. The world of aviation is exciting and a vital part of transportation. This will be an educational event, giving our youth hands-on experience.
