The NC Pickle Festival has been voted the FINEST FESTIVAL in the state in the 2026 Carolina’s Finest Awards, presented by Carolina Country magazine!

With more than 2.2 million readers across North Carolina, this recognition is something we're incredibly proud of—and it's all thanks to YOU, our amazing Pickle Peeps! 💚

To everyone who voted, attended, volunteered, sponsored, or helped make our festival what it is today, THANK YOU! This honor belongs to our entire pickle-loving community!

We're beyond excited to bring this award home to Mount Olive, and we can't wait to celebrate with you again on April 24, 2027!

🥒🎉 We’re Halfway There, Pickle Peeps!

Today marks SIX MONTHS until the NC Pickle Festival returns to Downtown Mount Olive on April 24, 2027!

Before you know it, we’ll be back together for the music, food, contests, vendors, entertainment, and all the pickle-packed fun we can fit into one festival.

The countdown is officially on. Only six more months until we can relish the fun together again!

🥒🚢 The Pickle Cruise Was a BIG DILL!

What better way to cap off the celebration of the 40th Annual North Carolina Pickle Festival than by taking our pickle pride to the high seas!

Pickle Peeps from Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina—and even France—joined us aboard Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas for a pickle-packed adventure we won’t soon forget.

From the moment we boarded with wagons filled with Mt. Olive pickles, pickle swag bags, door prizes, decorations, and our NCPF selfie frame, it didn’t take long for us to become known as “the pickle people” of the ship! And, of course, we looked the part in our official Pickle Cruise shirts declaring, “We’re Kind of a Big Dill at Sea!”

Our crew enjoyed a pickle door decorating contest, a favorite green outfit contest, pickle trivia, pickle tasting, and a Pickle Cocktail Party complete with some DILL-icious drinks.

But some of the best moments were ones we never could have planned. One couple got engaged during the cruise, and two filmmakers from France joined the fun while interviewing and filming our Pickle Peeps for a documentary they are creating about the North Carolina Pickle Festival!

A huge thank you to Julie Beck, Lynn Williams, Melissa Miller Kilpatrick, and Mallory Frederick Dumond for helping make this SPEAR-tacular adventure possible—and to every Pickle Peep who came aboard and made the experience so much fun.

We’ll always relish the memories we made together at sea. 💚
