I need someone who speaks Russian to be on a call with me to the Russian Symphony Orchestra, so that I can ask for permission to use the symphony's performance of the music that I want to use for the race marketing video. I tried Universal Music's production of the performance by two other orchestras but they want $500, plus union fees. I also tried Sony
Music for their production, but I did not hear back from them. I also tried a Polish orchestra but did not hear back from them either. Sadly, in 2017, I was going through this process and actually spoke with the Russian symphony and they were only going to charge $110. I kick myself for not paying for it out of my own pocket.

I found a volunteer licensed drone pilot! Now all I need is permission for the music and a forest service film permit. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get to do my marketing video.

Hello everyone. I need a volunteer licensed drone operator to help the race film a marketing video. The forest service considers it "commercial" because it is intended to generate income, and the permit requires a drone pilot's license (about $180 for the course) and registered drone ($5). The operator will need to be able to hike the racecourse, but probably not need to go all the way to the summit. If anyone here can do this or knows anyone who can do this, please send me a direct message. Thank you.

Hi everyone. I've been reviewing other trail race websites to see if they're suitable for cross-promotion. I look for comparability with the RTTT and location. There sure are some big races nearby. I noticed that many races have a Legacy Club. We don't, but we should. So many of our runners return--about 40% average. Matt Ebiner has run it at least 21 times, starting in 1981! He just may win the prize for the most runs to the top.

Per the Forest Service, if anyone would like to comment on the Angeles National Forest trail closures, which is in effect through to Feb. 23, here are three methods to contact the Forest Service during the public comment period (through Feb. 28) for the "San Antonio Canyon Visitor Use Management" program:

1. Submit comments on an online form linked to this page: https://www.fs.usda.gov/r05/angeles/recreation/visitor-use-management-strategy
2. Email [email protected] with subject line: “Comment for San Antonio Canyon”

It became necessary to write and say that our affiliate program is to refer other runners and may not be used to self-refer. I am a neophyte and didn't realize that I needed to include that.

We received our first affiliate referral registration. The affiliate received $10 and the person he referred got a 10% discount. You can do this too.

I mentioned in the first email that we are transferring registration to the race website instead of using Ultrasignup, which will save you a few dollars and allow us to offer an affiliate program (which they don't have yet). We are transferring registration to the race website to save you some money and to offer a referral program: $10 per referral. There have been a few hiccups, but they'll be worked out by the 20th.
