This is a great opportunity for a responsible high school or college student looking for a summer job with the potential to continue into the school year. We're seeking someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, takes initiative, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment.

The role includes helping members and guests, maintaining our coworking space, supporting daily operations, and assisting with occasional events.

The Bright Spot

The Bright Spot is a new coworking, meeting, and event space in Mound, MN. Our mission is to build a bright, energizing space where local businesses and community members come together to work, meet, and host events that strengthen relationships and enrich the Westonka community.

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Part-Time Community & Operations Assistant to support the coworking space during afternoon and evening business hours. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for members and guests while helping ensure the space remains clean, organized, and ready for the next business day.
The Community & Operations Assistant serves as the primary onsite point of contact during closing shifts, helping maintain a professional and inviting environment while supporting daily operations and preparing the space for closing.

Schedule:
Part-time, 3 - 4 shifts per week
Typical shifts:
1PM – 6PM on Fridays
Either 7:45AM - 1PM or 1PM - 6PM as needed
Weekend event support as needed
Monday - Friday

Thank you to our neighboring business West Lakes Dentistry for the shout out and coming to see the space last week! If you need an excellent dentist in Mound or Chaska - we highly recommend West Lakes! They are fast, efficient, transparent and have a fabulous team of dentists, hygienists and support staff, and of course owned and run by women!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Grand Opening Celebration last week and Ribbon cutting with Excelsior - Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce! It was a great event and fun to connect with so many new faces! We look forward to meeting even more community members now that our doors are wide open!
