One of our very own local pickup men!

Jacob Stacy grew up on a ranch in Central Washington, running cows day in and day out.
“My dad worked for a big ranch, so I was always kind of around,” Stacy said.
Later, he met the McMillan family, who ran an amateur rodeo outfit in Washington, offering young aspiring rodeo athletes opportunities to compete in a junior circuit.

“I got into riding horses when I was, like 15,” Stacy said. “I guess I like to get beat up because I stayed with it. And I've been doing it since.”
Stacy rode broncos for 15 years, learning how to steer wrestle, team rope, and pickup – Stacy’s current category of choice.
As a pickup man, Stacy keeps the rodeo animals and athletes safe through flank straps, roping bulls, and helping usher bull riders out of the arena after their ride. READ ON:

🎉 Another incredible Spring Fest is in the books!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, participated, and helped make Memorial Day weekend in Moses Lake a success.

A special shoutout to our City crews, staff, and public safety personnel who spent part of their holiday weekend working behind the scenes to keep events safe and running smoothly. We'd also like to thank the Spring Fest Volunteer Board for a fantastic event!

We’re proud of this community and already looking forward to next year!
