We’ve been off social for a bit hosting a NRL HUNTER match but now we’re back at it! Getting ready for a ELR class this weekend and jumping right into practical precision rifle the next week!

The calendar is filling and we’re glad to see it! We do have a few spots for our basic/intermediate precision rifle course June 1/2.

We just wrapped up a small course with 3 guys working on random, unconventional, and hasty positions. Utilizing terrain and structures to stay hidden yet have as steady, comfortable and sustainable position as possible. Engaging heads from 180-355 forced a little data management and everyone walked away with a 100% hit ratio. We learned a lot about our gear, timeliness, and process. Being we started with sling supported drills anything with a tripod is rock solid!Only position we took pics of was the bus.

Stump enjoying a nice Sunday. Today we’re working on unsupported sling shooting. Isn’t ever you first choice to shoot but you may find it your only choice. 6”x8” plate at 125 yds isn’t a gimme but practical if you need to make something happen.
•
PS: you may not like this style of shooting with a 25lb PRS rig 😂 This rig weighs 17.4 lbs with scope, bipod, sling, and mag but the balance point in rearward letting you support balance point within your main structure.

Not all backseats are created equal. Some LE agencies get creative on a purpose built mobile observation/snipers hide. All veils, blockers, and screens to be setup to black out from desired angles. HOG saddle, tripod, and stool make for sustained comfort. A/C & Heat doesn’t hurt either!

In June our range will have some weekends we are opening up for civilian classes.

First class will be a basic-intermediate level with lodging and kitchen included. The class will go over rifle setup, data gathering, fundamentals, position building, wind reading, time/gear management, strategy, and much more.

Located just outside Jackson, Ms. This will be applicable to PRS, Hunting, LE Sniper, and other practical precision disciplines.

2 days of training, lodging and kitchen included. $750. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.

If you’re going to host a SWAT Sniper class and put a heavy emphasis on unsupported positional shooting there are few people better suited than Terry from 1 Mil Right training.

orchestrated an amazing event and brought in many SME with Terry focusing on the shooting side.

We’ll share more from this awesome event in the next few days! We learned a ton and enjoyed our time from 50 snipers from Florida to Alaska! Thanks for your hard work and perfect ex*****on! 🇺🇸

This weekend we were happy to have 2 team shooters compete in the Precision Rifle Series match hosted by Alabama Precision

Robert Brantley brought back the win and Tommy Tinsley came out tying for 10th place. Both prepped at the range the day before using our truing process.

Awesome job shooters and thank you for all your hard work at the range. 🇺🇸
