A foggy Morro Bay race start

It's been a few years since we've been graced with the famous Morro Bay fog on race day. Recent years had clear skies and sun, but this year, we had warmer water as a perk.

The fog welcomed racers and made for epic photos!

Huge thank you to our volunteers and staff for putting on another incredible race!

One of the most special things about Morro Bay Triathlon is that it's locally run and supported by our community here in San Luis Obispo County.

We partner with local clubs, businesses, and schools whose volunteers major roles in why Morro Bay Triathlon is so beloved.

Volunteers help with course flagging, kayak hauling, body marking, festival set-up, packet pick-up, aid stations, handing out medals, cheering on our athletes, and so so much more.

We are so grateful to have such incredible, passionate volunteers!!!
