With a heavy heart, I have to break the sad news that Griffin's Pint Open Mic has come to an end. It's been quite a ride for me, as the full time host for over 3.5 years, but I've been here since mic #1 -- all the way back when things opened back up after the pandemic.
We had so many good times and saw so many good acts through the years. Friends were made and bands were formed. There's nothing quite like getting players who have never played in front of a crowd to do it for the first time, we had SO many over the years - a few of which went on to start booking gigs for themselves!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us since circa 2020
Thank you to the Griffin's Pint and the Elleson family for giving us a home and the space to create and perform
Thank you to each and every player that ever came out to play and hang out (you are the lifeblood of open mics, and the larger music community)
Thank you to everyone to who came out to hang out and see the local artists
Thank you to all the bartenders who ever worked a GPOM
Thank you to everyone who watched GPOMTV
I can't say enough about what GPOM meant to me personally.
Thank you everyone,
One last time.
Your humble host,
Craig Brown / brier.
Check back in on the page from time to time for the memories, there's some good ones
