Last night at the West Virginia Black Bears game was a blast! All teachers received a free PaperPie book, and even the Pepperoni Rolls stopped by the Book Fair to check out the books! Six teachers received Making a Difference With Literacy packs for their classrooms, too! Congrats to the winners! We hope all the teachers (and their students) have a wonderful year ahead!

This week, fellow ESR Jenn Snyder and I had the incredible opportunity to attend the West Virginia Library Association Fall Conference and connect with so many inspiring librarians from across the state! 📚 It was an honor to share PaperPie's Literacy Programs and explore how we can work together to support our libraries, foster a love for reading, and help build a brighter future for the communities we serve!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and shared their stories and ideas—your dedication to promoting literacy and providing access to books is truly inspiring. I'm looking forward to partnering with West Virginia's libraries and helping to bring even more resources and opportunities to the table. Together, we can continue to open doors to learning and make a lasting impact.

The Literacy Challenge in the U.S. 📚

Even more alarming, 19% of high school graduates can't read at all, and 42 million adults struggle to read beyond elementary school level. Half of adults in the U.S. can’t fully engage with books written at an 8th-grade level.
