Morgan City Senior Center Our Senior Center caters to Seniors 60 and over! We provide daily activities, lunch and just a place to gather!!!

We missed Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday, so we celebrated on Wednesday! Our seniors love any reason to celebrate. We also give them daily nutrition education; on Wednesday, we discussed picking the right protein and foods that are low in sodium.

We ended the week playing "Name That Tune." We had the best time; they love challenging those minds.

What a hilarious way to end the week! We decided to spice up or cool off our bingo game. Our seniors played bingo, but instead of winning prizes, they won a blue card with a “V” or a “C.” They were told the “V” meant they had to visit another table and the “C” meant they had to clean the center. They played and discussed who they would visit and what they would clean. At the end, we took the bags with the blue cards and added ice cream to their bags! The “V” meant VANILLA ice cream and the “C” meant CHOCOLATE. They were excited and thankful. It was a great way to end a busy week!
