Basin Brew Fest

Basin Brew Fest Basin Brew Fest has been proudly showcasing Louisiana Craft beer since our inaugural event in 2017.

Our purpose is simple: give everyone who visits a little taste of what the Bottom of The Boot has to offer in the craft beer world! With home-brewers and new breweries popping up across the state, we are continuing to expand our festival. While our purpose is to share some Southern flavor, our goal is to raise funds to complete renovations to a local jewel, our Historic Lawrence Park in the heart

of Downtown Morgan City. Since 2017, our event has helped raise
over $60,000 in funds to help renovate the playground first and now the historic gazebo and fountain but there’s still work to be done! Our committee chooses a different 501c3 partner each year to help bring awareness to their cause. While we haven’t decided on who our partner will be just yet, we can promise that it will be one with a great purpose behind their efforts. Our committee has a passion for community and through the years, you have helped us make improvements to our local quality of life by not only hosting an ever growing event but making needed updates to a local play area for our children and parts of our history. Preserving history, building community, improving our quality of life, spreading awareness and having a good time is really what we're all about and by way of celebrating Louisiana's Craft Beer Industry, we've found a way to successfully combine all of those things.

What a day. What a community.
What a Basin Brew Fest!

There are so many people to thank for bringing this event to life, and it truly takes all of us.

To the Brew Krewe Committee—this event is what it is because of you. The months of planning, organizing, coordinating, and problem-solving do not go unnoticed. You are the backbone of Basin Brew Fest, and we are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart you pour into making it all happen.

To our volunteers—thank you for showing up and serving in such important ways. From check-in to merch to pouring beer, you help create the experience our guests enjoy, and we couldn’t do it without you.

To our sponsors—thank you for believing in this event and investing in our community. Your support is what makes Brew Fest possible year after year.

To the breweries and homebrewers who travel, prepare, and share their craft—thank you for being such a vital part of what makes Brew Fest special.

And to everyone who came out to attend—thank you. Your support, your energy, and your presence are what make it all worth it.

It takes a village and this one showed up beautifully. Until next year… 🍻

’Twas the night before Brew Fest, and all through the house,
Not a volunteer was resting… not even the spouse.
The walkies were charging by the iPads with care,
In hopes that smooth service soon would be there.

The vendors were dreaming of crowds lined in rows,
While visions of cold brews and good times arose.
With checklists in hand and final plans tight,
We’re gearing up strong for a big day tomorrow and brews going down right.

From tents to the tickets, it’s all coming together,
Rain or shine, we’re ready for whatever.
So rest up tonight, ‘cause tomorrow’s the test,
We can’t wait to see y’all at Basin Brew Fest!

Happy Brew Fest Eve to all, and to all a good night! 🫡

Good Afternoon you beer-loving beauties!
Thanks so much for supporting our cause and helping to raise funds for the Block 27 Project which helps upgrade and restore our local gem, Lawrence Park, by purchasing tickets for the 8th Annual Basin Brew Fest!

VIP Early Entry is 2:00 - 3:00
General Admission Entry begins at 3:00
Ride Along ticket holders can enter when their party enters.

The event ends at 6:00. We love ya but we have a whole lot of clean up so once we say it's done, safely make your way home or to a local eatery!

We will be located under the HWY 90 overpass again this year! The ONLY ENTRY GATE will be located at Second Street. You MUST come through the entry gate to enter.

Here's a few things that you'll need to know:
1. We have a new ticketing system this year to *TRY* to make the process move quicker but we need you guys to do your part to make it happen. After you purchased tickets, you received an email from givebutter.com with your receipt. This email also has a "download tickets" button that you need to click. If at all possible, print those babies out and have them on hand or download them to your phone! If you put the same email for multiple tickets - sorry for all the emails ya just got. Duplicate tickets will not work or be accepted. Each ticket holder will have an individual ticket with an individual QR code. We do have a list like we did in the past as back up but if you do your part and print those puppies out, we should be able to rock with the new system. *print it. PRINT IT. printttt ittttttt* Names will be listed as first, last if you need to be checked in via list.
**These tickets will be attached to the receipt/order confirmation SO the PURCHASER will have the tickets in their email!**
If you are attending with a sponsor, you may also be listed under the sponsor name, depending on if your company contact gave us all the needed information.

2. There will be two lines at the entry gate. For the first hour, they will both be taking VIP entries. At 3:00, one line will switch and begin selling day of tickets and the other line will remain for presale tickets entries. There will be signs.

3. Have your ID! Everyone who comes through our gates will have their ID scanned or have to show LA Wallet. Doesn't matter if you know Bonnie and Clyde on the inside, you have to have a valid ID to get in. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entry. Yes, including babies in strollers - NO HUMAN UNDER THE AGE OF 21.

4. If you are coming under one of our sponsors, know which one JUST IN CASE we have to search for you on our list as some are listed only as sponsor names.

5. We will take cash and cards at the entry gate, merch tent and tap trailer.

6. Show your first responder ID or proof that your are a nurse, doctor, fireman, emt, law officer, military, etc and you'll get a free tap trailer beer as a THANK YOU! We appreciate you and all you do for your fellow humans.

7. VIPs - after you enter, you will go to our Swag Booth right inside the entry gate where you pick up your swag bag. If you need to swap out your shirt size, you'll have to do it at the Merch Tent. Give Mrs. Bonnie and her lovely assistants your name and they'll find it in the list and give you your bag. As an added VIP plus this year, GJ Curbside will be serving complimentary Bloody Marys and Screwdrivres during the VIP Early Entry time - there's a ticket IN YOUR BAG. This ticket can be used at GJ's booth for a bloody mary, screwdriver or at the Tap Trailer for a tap beer. ONE per person.

8. Wear sunscreen.

9. Pet friends are welcome but you have to follow Morgan City's leash law.

10. We have fancy a/c potty trailers again this year. A men's and a women's. Keep them as clean as possible. Be respectful friends.

11. There will be 2 officers on site. If at any time there is a problem, we absolutely reserve the right to remove you from the festival grounds. Don't be a butthead. We don't like buttheads and we will not hesitate to remove you.

12. The food is INSIDE the gates of Brew Fest this year. Be patient with the food trucks. It takes time to prepare your order.

13. You will be given TWO voting cards to vote for your favorite homebrewer AND your favorite commercial brewer. This is for the People's Choice competition. You need to cast that vote before 5:00 PM. We will announce it several times. For VIPs, these voting cards are in your bags. For General Admission, they will be given to you at the entry gate.

14. You cannot purchase ANYTHING at the sampling booths. There is beer for purchase at the tap trailer. You are only allowed - as per State Law - a 2 oz sample at the sample booths for beer and a 0.5 oz sample at the distilleries. Don't ask my volunteers for more because they won't give it to you.

15. Ride Along ticket holders cannot be given beer samples. They CAN sample from wine & distillery booths. Anyone can purchase from the tap trailer.

16. There are Raffle Tickets for purchase at the Merch Tent. You MUST be present to win. We give prizes at the end of the event. The two grand prizes are K2 coolers filled with craft beer.

17. Always be friendly and courteous. ALL of the people who put this event together and those working are volunteers.

18. Smile for Greg Guarisco - He'll be taking photos and videos for us to use for future marketing!

19. And of course, always have a safe ride home after the fest. Drinking and driving is NOT COOL!

20. HAVE FUN AND DON'T BE A BUTTHEAD! We have ZERO issue with kicking people who act a butt out of this festival. It WILL NOT be tolerated.

21. Please keep track of your friends. One poor fella was left behind in the grass passed out by his friend group at a past event. That ain't cool. Take care of your people. DON'T BE A BUTTHEAD.

22. Morgan City Fire Department will be on side with a medical tent if needed.

23. We will do our best to answer questions through this evening but understand that we're ALL volunteers and we ALL have families at home. Tomorrow, save your questions for the gate because we will not have time or capacity to respond.

Please help us make the day run as smooth as possible and follow these rules/guidelines.

PRINT THE TICKETS. K? Print em.

See y'all tomorrow!
