Trollwood Performing Arts School, located at Bluestem Center for the Arts, is a unique arts organization committed to providing high quality arts education, exceptional community entertainment, and serves as a community events and exposition center. Trollwood serves as the managing arm for Bluestem Center for the Arts, a world-class facility headquartered in Moorhead, MN. The campus includes river

views, grassy meadows, woods and wildlife, outdoor stages, a 2,500-seat amphitheatre, and the beautiful Marcil Commons which serves as an educational center and rental space including warm, knotty pine rooms with beautiful park views. Trollwood Performing Arts School's youth programs are committed to providing high quality performing arts education and exceptional community entertainment. Since 1978, thousands of young people have spent their summers learning, growing, and making friends at Trollwood. Trollwood offers nine annual arts education, youth leadership and performance programs. The school deliberately incorporates the outdoors because it is our belief that a connection to the natural environment fosters creativity, self-discovery, and an understanding of a healthy way of being alive. With nature as a model, students gain a better appreciation of the value of diversity, adaptability, cooperation, and interdependence. As a program of the Fargo Public Schools, Trollwood is accredited through the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction.

Trollwood is deeply saddened by the news that Jade Presents will be closing its doors. For 17 seasons, the Trollwood team has had the privilege of working closely alongside Jade and the incredible Jade Presents team to bring world class live music and entertainment to our community at Bluestem Center for the Arts.

Jade Presents provided audiences in our region the opportunity to experience legendary artists and an extraordinary range of talent and events right here on the Bluestem stage. Their impact on the cultural life of our region has been significant and lasting, and we are incredibly grateful for the partnership, the memories, and the experiences we created together for nearly two decades.

After more than 30 years of bringing live entertainment to our community, it is with deep heartbreak that we share that Jade Presents is closing its doors.

Since day one, we knew this industry has operated on faith and momentum. The impact, the joy, the community building, and the shared experiences made that worth it. Which is why this ending is so incredibly painful.

For more than three decades, Jade Presents had the privilege of creating live experiences that brought people together. These events were never just concerts to us. They were memories, traditions, community gathering points, and shared experiences that mattered deeply to our audiences, partners, and team.

The reality is that the live entertainment industry changed dramatically over the past several years. Rising costs, shifting touring economics, post-COVID challenges, and increasing pressure on independent promoters created an environment that ultimately became unsustainable. Our team fought incredibly hard to keep this going for as long as possible, and we are proud of the passion, sacrifice, and heart that went into that effort.

There are still many moving parts, ongoing conversations, and unanswered questions we are actively working through as logistical and legal details continue to evolve. Because legal matters are still unfolding, we cannot yet provide definitive information regarding ticketing, refunds, reimbursements, credits, claims, or related processes. We understand those questions are important, and we will continue sharing verified information as we are able.

At this time, we can confirm that Bluestem and UP District Festival Field shows will not be moving forward. Fargo Theatre and Aquarium events remain uncertain, and we will communicate updates on those as soon as we are able. We are sharing what we know now because transparency matters, even when the full picture is still coming into focus.

Questions may be directed to [email protected]. Due to the number and nature of anticipated inquiries, Jade Presents may not be able to respond individually. Subject to legal and practical limitations, Jade Presents will endeavor to provide additional updates through public announcements or other appropriate channels.

Beyond the logistics, there is a very human side to this moment. We are mourning the loss of a company, a mission, and work we genuinely loved.

To everyone who supported Jade Presents over the years: thank you. We are heartbroken but deeply grateful for the artists, audiences, partners, venues, vendors, sponsors, employees, and community members who believed in what Jade Presents was building and were part of this journey.
