Saturday was a perfect send-off for our Grand Finale Wine Walk! Thank you to everyone — attendees, 5K participants, sponsors, vendors, bands, local businesses, and volunteers — who made Saturday sunny, joyful, and full of memories. While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re excited to focus on events that align even more closely with United Way of Susquehanna County’s mission and deepen our impact in the community. On Saturday, Public Ave was filled with sunshine, music, friends, laughter, puppies in cute outfits, and some serious day drinking attire.

Our magnificent vendors, musicians, volunteers, and sponsors made the farewell tour of the Montrose Wine Walk one to remember. But what really made it the day that it was? You. You showed up. From flower garlands to fine wines to gyros weighing as much as a newborn, you ate, drank, and certainly made merry. Stores, glasses, and hearts were all full.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. It’s been a fun ride, and we were glad to share it with you for so many years.

This year’s Run Now, Wine Later 5K racers were all smiles and thumbs up on a sunshine-filled course, potentially motivated by a post-race refreshment from A.R. Whitehead & Son, Distillery…

Cody Adams made it look easy, finishing first overall with a time of 20:55. Lillie Marsh cruised in as the top female finisher at 31:40. Find your individual results at the link below.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year’s Run Now, Wine Later 5K! On behalf of our volunteers and the United Way of Susquehanna County, we are so grateful for your support and hope you enjoyed the race and kickoff to the Montrose Wine Walk Festival.

It was amazing to see so many runners, walkers, families, and community members come together for such a fun morning supporting local United Way programming. Your participation helped make this event a tremendous success!
