Time for another Defiantly Hopeful concert with Mustard's Retreat! :-) Wed. Sept. 9...7 PM EST. Links below. This show will be in conjunction with the Peterborough Folk Music Society in Peterborough, NH, who has been presenting us since...?? the late 1980s??. A fine, fine organization that grew out of one of the old guard performance spaces of the folk circuit, The Folkway, which was a refuge for many of us on the road back in the 1970s-1980s. The Folk Music Society has continued the tradition of presenting fine concerts, from house concerts up the theaters. A great town, great and dedicated people: part of the proceeds from the tip jar will go to them. Hoping you can make it, especially to the show in Zoom, so we can see and talk with you. We plan to open up Zoom at 6:30 to do just that :-) Hope you can make it!

In these uncertain times you may be interested to know that we are working on a late summer/fall concert series. It may be June before we have everyone scheduled.

In the meanwhile, if you are an artist who has performed at West Bethesda in the past, I invite you to post a link to your website in the comments to this post so people can check out your online stores while we are mostly at home. You are in our prayers!

Just had a terrific Sunday afternoon with Ruth and Max Bloomquist in concert at West Bethesda. Poignant song-writing, talented voices, and lovely harmonies were in abundance. It was a wonderful way to spend a fall afternoon!
