Ice on Fire ~ Central Vermont Winter Festival ICE ON FIRE is part of Montpelier's Winter Festival. Held the First Sunday in Feb. Fun for all ages--theatre, dance, storytelling, music. Hot Drinks and snacks.

Bring your own mug.
203 Country Club Road. Suggested donation $10. No one is turned away Bundle up and come out for this snowy celebration of community. Children's activities, winter games, theater, song and storytelling. Opening parade at 2pm, closing bonfire at 5pm. Food, hot cider, hot chocolate. Snowshoes provided, bring xcountry skis, and sleds. Remember you can re-purpose your Xmas tree, by dropping it off (sans decorations) on the far side of the North Branch Nature Center parking lot, 713 Elm Street, Montpelier.

We will use your discarded (real) Christmas trees. Drop off on the far side of the parking lot at North Branch Nature Center. Give your old tree new life as part of our labyrinth or as part of our performer stages.

A big thank you to everyone who came to Ice on Fire this year! There were TONS of new faces this year, and it seemed like folks were having a great time. It's so wonderful to gather together in good will and friendship, to celebrate community and all that is good in the world. I will be posting photos soon--apologies for the delay.
