We have been asked about a Reunion before the 50th in 2029 and while no plans are in place and we are all getting a wee bit older is there still any interest?

To do so would require an organizer to be local. Glenn, Sharon, Paula and Barry (me) who arranged the 40th can likely assist but all live very far away.

We would need someone in the immediate area to take the lead if we want this in Monticello.

Montie Class of 1979: I am so deeply sad, my heart has a huge hole in it, yet it is filled with the love of our friendship. I, we, lost my lifelong BFF Mimi Balseiro, aka Myriam Hasbun, yesterday, April 28. We have shared a lifetime of memories, starting in 2nd grade. I am so glad that we kept in touch after she moved to Florida in 10th grade….over 48 years! And I am so grateful that I was able to visit her last week and spend her last days reminiscing and telling each other how much we love each other.

Mimi fought so hard to beat breast and bone cancer for over 3 years. She loved life and loved her family more than anything. She is truly the strongest person I know. A true fighter until the end.

Even though I will miss her forever, I am so happy that she is now in Peace and is no longer suffering. May she Rest in Peace with the love of her life. Her Memory Is a Blessing. 💔❤️

While not in our class, Todd Glick's sister Barri (with an "i") suddenly passed away this week. Our condolences to the Glick family.

Just saw that there is a planned Broadway musical about James Taylor. If so and it comes to fruition we need a big group to attend in NYC. He has been a soundtrack to many of our lives.

James Taylor is partnering with writer Tracy Letts and director David Cromer on a stage musical, 'Fire and Rain.'

Hello Class of 79-

I just want to reach out and implore all to Vote. The class I remember was still touched by the values and ideals of the 60's and 70's and those values, which we all saw at our last reunion in 2019 are more important now than ever. We simply cannot allow our country to go backwards, to become a nation of hate, racism, misogyny, fascism, anti-semitism and a complete disregard for integrity, compassion and choice. It is the most important election in our lives and if you till hold those values that we grew up with then please, this is your chance to show it.
