Calling all car enthusiasts! 🏎️ Get ready—August 15th we’re rolling into the historic Montgomery Motor Speedway for an unforgettable automotive showcase featuring hundreds of stunning vehicles.

Have a cool ride you’re proud of? There’s still time to register your vehicle! Every registered show car will also have the chance to take an exciting pace lap around the Speedway’s iconic half‑mile oval—a bucket‑list moment for any car lover.

Plus, there will be food, vendors, music, and plenty of attractions to keep the fun going all afternoon. And the best part? This event is completely FREE! So, bring your friends, family, and fellow car fans out for an awesome day at the track.

💜🏓 ANNOUNCING: The Inaugural Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic! 🏓💜

The City of Montgomery Parks & Recreation Department — in partnership with Parks and Recreation Board Member Darlene Skier and District 9 Councilman Charles Jinwright — is excited to host the first‑ever Jewell Pitts Memorial Pickleball Classic on August 7–8 at Dean Fain Park (8700 Minnie Brown Road). 💜

This two‑day round robin tournament features nine divisions across men’s, women’s, and mixed play with three skill levels:
• Beginner: 2.5–3.0
• Intermediate: 3.5–4.0
• Advanced: 4.5+

Players may register for up to two categories, and registration is $50 per person, per category. Partners must register separately. 📝💜

💜 $5,000 in prize money will be awarded across all advanced divisions, with additional prizes for winners and finalists in every category!

📅 Event Schedule:
• Mixed Doubles: Friday, 4 PM–9 PM
• Women’s & Men’s Doubles: Saturday, 8 AM–5 PM
