Come join us for the 7th Annual Monterey Bay Jade Festival. Featuring 40+ vendors offering Jade Carvings, Jewelry, Sculptures, Rough and Specimens

The Monterey Bay Jade Festival is proud to continue our annual Jade Carving
Exhibition named after master sculptor and jade artist Georg Schmerholz.
The Jade Carving Exhibition takes place at Monterey History & Art at Stanton Center

Attend the second International Jade Summit on Saturday, June 13th.
This all-day event features renowned jade professionals and is for people looking to expand their knowledge of jade and the international jade market.

Last Call for for Jade Artists! Deadline Today!

On behalf of the Monterey Bay Jade Festival, we invite you to participate in the Annual Georg Schmerholz Jade Carving Exhibition, held at the Stanton Center on Custom House Plaza. This exhibition is a highlight of our festival, dedicated to celebrating the artistry and craftsmanship of jade carving from around the world.

We welcome local and international jade carvers of all skill levels, from master artisans to emerging talents in the jade carving community. Our goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring platform for artists to showcase their work, receive valuable peer feedback, and gain recognition for their craftsmanship.

Each submission will be evaluated based on:

Stone Selection
Artistic Design
Ex*****on

Judges are encouraged to offer personalized feedback, and each participating artist will receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze certificate, awarded at the Friends of Jade Dinner. More details on ticket availability will be announced soon.

All carvings will be securely displayed within the well-lit Stanton Center from 12 PM on Friday through 4 PM on Sunday, free for the public to enjoy. The exhibition will be prominently featured in all promotional efforts for the Monterey Bay Jade Festival, including social media, local publications, and signage throughout the Monterey Peninsula.

We look forward to showcasing your artistry and celebrating the jade community together!
