After a lot of deliberation and a few solid rallies of conversation with our WTR representative and the Louisiana State Games officials, we — Mark Thompson & Steve Semones (Warhawk Open Tournament Directors) — have decided to step up and be a little more “Racquetball Aware” for the bigger picture of the sport. 🦅

We want to make it easier for players who love to compete in both indoor and outdoor events to do ALL the things — not just come throw down at the Warhawk, but also have the chance to represent their sponsors at the long-standing outdoor staple: Beach Bash. 🏖️💪

✅ SO… WE’RE MOVING THE WARHAWK OPEN BACK ONE WEEK.
📅 NEW DATES: March 26–28, 2026
Everything else remains the same: Great hospitality 🍽️, great competition 🏆, and a great chance to experience one hell of an exciting tournament for Ballers… run by Ballers! 😎🔥

And let’s be real for a second — the Beach Bash staff always seems to be getting held hostage by their host venue’s representatives 🤐 (we see you, and we respect the grind). Over here at the Warhawk, our tournament staff and local community liaisons have built a strong rapport not only with the Athletics Director at our host facility — the University of Louisiana at Monroe Activity Center — but also with many of the local and state-level sponsors who help grow this event year after year. 🤝🦅

Bottom line: this date shift is about supporting the sport, supporting the players, and keeping the racquetball community moving forward — without forcing anyone to choose. 💯
