Skagit Woolen Works is a woman-owned wool processing mill in the heart of the Skagit Valley. Specializing in locally sourced fibers, they make a wide array of breed-specific yarn and roving for crafters. A zero-waste mill, they also specialize in putting every fiber to good use, with products like quilt batting, wool stuffed pillows, wool pellets for the garden, and much more. Anna and Jess are looking forward to their 3rd year as sponsors and vendors and plan to roll out some special offerings for one of our favorite events!

After 35 years teaching, I found fiber arts as a calming, grounding hobby that put me in tune with my grandfather’s upholstery and my other grandfather’s building. BK Blessed Knits is my new venture for when I retire as a teacher. What can i make for you?

Fiber Fusion Northwest is thrilled to provide booth space for Farm Fresh (Booth #49), located
next to Skagit Woolen Works (Booth #50). Jess and Anna proposed this “mini farmer’s market” as “a way to showcase a few of the amazing local farmers they work with and process for, and the result is; Farm Fresh; - 2 days, 4 local farm(er)s, over 12 different breeds of sheep represented, and dozens of fresh local products to peruse, all under one canopy.”
Shop for products from all four small farms all weekend and come meet these vendors who’ll rotate being at the booth too!
Carnation Farms, Alex Hagiepetros, Carnation, WA; Carnation Farms is a historic dairy farm in the Snoqualmie Valley, with certified organic produce and pasture raised meat. Their livestock manager Alex has helped grow their lamb production with a focus on fiber, and will bring yarn, roving, and sheepskins.
Fog & Fleece Sheepery, Caroline Vandenberghe, Bellingham, WA; Caroline manages a mixed flock of Icelandics, Shetland, and Romneys on a historic farm in Whatcom County. She'll bring an assortment of millspun and handspun yarn, roving, felt, and pre-washed fleece.
Parke Creek Farm, Bambi Miller, Ellensburg, WA; Bambi operates a small farmstand with pasture raised meat and eggs, berries, produce, and an array of wool products from her flock of fine wool cross sheep. She naturally dyes her yarns, and will also be bringing natural dye kits and plants.
Shoot the Moon Vineyard and Farm, Kilby Bennett, Skagit Valley, WA; Located in the heart of the Skagit Valley, owners Kilby and Bennett raise heritage livestock while growing their burgeoning vineyard. Kilby will have a selection of Wensleydale yarn, roving, locks, tallow balm and soap.

In the Rodger Family Farm and Fiber Mill booth in the northeast corner of the Event Center, Donalee and Robert will be demonstrating mill equipment all weekend!
“We will be demonstrating the Brother Jumbo Carder, its roving deck, core-spun yarn maker, and batt drum. It has extremely fine pin-cloth and speed control on three aspects of the carder, making it possible to card everything from the finest merino to primitive coarse fleeces, suri alpaca to cashmere, angora bunny blends --
everything! It is the carder we rely on for 300-400 lbs of processing a month.
The Ultra Power Picker is used to open up or fluff the locks of fiber to prepare them
for the carder. The more open the fiber going into the carder, the more alignment
can occur as the fiber moves between the carder's pin-clothed rollers.”
Come watch and learn about real-time processing, ask questions, and take a selfie too!.
