The MoTown Mile & 6K "ish" Road Race presents the 8th Annual MoTown Mile & 6K road race coming to the Quad Cities August 14th 2021! Bringing back the magic of the mile with multiple waves for all levels of speed and fitness! Open Division for everyone wanting to come out and try to set their own PR (top 5 receive special MoTown Mile Pint Glasses). A Competitive Division for sub 7 women, sub 6 men
(top 5 will receive special MoTown Mile Pint Glasses). Then the Elite Division, sub 6 Women, Sub 5 Men will take the stage where the top 5 over all will receive special MoTown Mile Pint Glasses while the top 3 will receive cash prizes (HS and colligate runners not eligible for cash prizes). After all the waves have completed, the 6k "ish" will take to the roads with three deep age group category winners receiving special MoTown Mile Pint Glasses and top three over all men and women taking home cash prizes. You have the opportunity to sign up for both races, and each runner will receive a sweet, unisex MoTown Mile shirt (only one shirt per runner if you sign up for both races). Both the Race and the Craft Beer Festival are non-profit events raising money for FOUR great local Charities, the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, Mississippi Bend Trykes, the Peaceful Palate, and the Chris VanSpeybroeck Memorial Scholarship.
