Today we had the opportunity to go visit Chief Frank "Specter" Schoenfeld and Ally, and it was absolutely awesome to sit down and spend some time with them.

For those of you who haven't had the privilege of meeting Frank, imagine that one family member who always cared enough to tell you when you messed up, but would never leave you hanging. The kind of person who would give you honest advice, help you solve the problem, and then stand beside you while you did it. That's Frank.

We are incredibly honored to be helping lead this effort to support him during his recovery.
On June 13th at 1:00 PM, we're throwing a party unlike anything Molalla has ever seen at Molalla River Brewing!

🍻 Cold beverages 🌮 Amazing food 🎸 Five of the best local bands and musicians 🎉 Great people supporting a great cause.

We'll be rocking all afternoon and into the evening until it's time to call it a day.

Most importantly, you'll have the chance to see the man himself, Chief Frank "Specter" Schoenfeld, as he continues a recovery that can only be described as remarkable. The strength, determination, and spirit he has shown throughout this journey have inspired all of us.

Let's come together as a community, celebrate, have some fun, and help support Frank and Ally during this recovery effort.

🚨 Sponsorships Are Officially CLOSED! 🚨

We can now officially say that the Molalla River Summer Jam is going to be one heck of a show!

The Molalla River Summer Jam team would like to thank all of the businesses, organizations, and individuals who stepped up to sponsor this event. Your support is helping make something truly special happen for our community.

Once the ink is dry, the paperwork is finalized, and our Finance Director gives me the official thumbs-up, we'll be announcing the final sponsors who joined the lineup. We want to make sure everyone gets the recognition they deserve.

I would also personally like to thank my good friends Adrenaline and Coffee, who have carried me through the last month and a half. For six weeks I've been operating on a highly scientific management strategy consisting of sleepless nights, endless phone calls, sponsorship meetings, volunteer recruiting, problem solving, and enough coffee to keep a small city awake.

People keep asking me how much sleep I've been getting. That's a very personal question, and one I'm not qualified to answer anymore.

For the last month and a half, my family has occasionally seen me, my phone has never stopped ringing, and my brain has been running somewhere between "event planner" and "air traffic controller." At this point, if coffee sponsors next year's event, I'm pretty sure I qualify as a product endorsement.

For those who heard the Spanish concert last night, we appreciate them helping set the bar for summer entertainment in Molalla. Setting the bar is important. It gives us something to aim at. We fully intend to bring an incredible show and give everyone a day they'll remember long after the last song is played.

In all seriousness, none of this happens without our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and supporters. While I may have supplied the caffeine consumption, all of you supplied the support that made this event possible.

Thank you for believing in this event. Thank you for investing in our community. And thank you for helping turn an idea into what is going to be an amazing Summer Jam.
