Enjoy an all access pass to the Pit Stop (aka Modesto Centre Plaza parking lot). We are planning a great kickoff party, the Tour of California: Modesto Cycling Expo, when pit crews set up their bike wash stations and busy themselves sprucing up and tuning up road weary bicycles, offering cycling demos and more. Live broadcast radio, food trucks, giveaways and more will make this an event not to be missed.

Amgen Tour of California Modesto Sponsor, Gilton Solid Waste is putting together an effort to take multiple truckloads of non-perishable food, clothing, bedding, personal hygiene or other items to Joplin Missouri to assist disaster relief efforts. Gilton will pick up items or you can drop them off at 755 South Yosemite Avenue in Oakdale. Trucks are leaving on Wednesday June 1st. Questions, call 209-527-3781
