Twas The Night Before Bed Race Friday, November 20, 2026, at 6 p.m., teams will race down Mocksville's Main Street in beds, for fun & cash prizes! Follow for updates!

The annual Bed Race is our town's unique way to kick off the holidays with costumes, prizes, music, and team spirit. The Mocksville Bed Race ('Twas the Night Before Bed Race) happens each November. Join us for the race and the lighting of the Christmas lights in Historic Downtown Mocksville. Follow us for more information and live streaming coverage of the event.

Get your flag and fly it high this summer! Usually we are here talking about 🏁 flags but today we're talking about the flags of Davie! Follow Davie County Arts Council to find out how to make your own flag to fly on Main Street in Mocksville.

🎉 The Flags of Davie Are Back! 🎉

Get ready, Mocksville — the streets are about to burst with color again! The Flags of Davie community art exhibition is returning this summer, and we want you to be part of it.

Artists of all ages are invited to create an original 3’ x 5’ flag that will be proudly displayed throughout downtown during July and August, transforming Main Street into a vibrant outdoor gallery. It’s a chance to share your creativity, celebrate our community, and see your artwork flying high for everyone to enjoy.

Presented by the Davie County Arts Council in partnership with the Town of Mocksville, this community favorite includes cash prizes, public judging, and a summer-long exhibition.
