Thank You for Making This Year’s Event a Success!
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out and supported our event. Each year, we are amazed by the unbelievable growth and continued enthusiasm from all of you. It's your support that makes this event possible — and we hope you’ll continue to be part of our DFF family for many years to come.
If you see any of our incredible sponsors around town, please take a moment to thank them for their generous support. They play a vital role in making this event a success, and we truly couldn't do it without them.
We’d also like to give a special thank-you to our media partners who helped spread the word about our event:
WXII 12 for featuring our event in a special TV segment,
WDSL and 98.1 for the radio announcements,
Yadkin Valley Magazine for their advertisment,
And the Davie County Enterprise for running our ad.
Your support helped us reach more people than ever before — and we are deeply grateful!
We are also incredibly thankful for the dedicated efforts of our local public safety teams:
The Davie County Sheriff's Office for providing overnight security on Thursday and Friday nights and for assisting with the Antique Tractor Parade.
The Cooleemee Fire Department and Cornatzer-Dulin Fire Department for being on-site throughout the entire event and for ensuring road closures were safely maintained during the parade.
We deeply appreciate their commitment to public safety and their active involvement in our community. Their presence brought peace of mind to everyone attending.
We're working hard to reach more folks within a two-hour radius and would love to welcome new faces! Whether you're interested in being a sponsor, a demonstrator, a farm vendor, or just want to come out and enjoy the experience — we invite you to join us next year and be part of something special.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our five wonderful volunteers:
Brad Godbey, who helped prepare the grounds, brought in hay for the 1940s Hay Press (our main attraction!), and even drove the barrel train when needed.
Molly Myers, who helped record the parade, took pictures, and handed out goodie bags to guests.
Sharon Hudson, for capturing beautiful photos of attendees.
Lindsey & Joyce Fishel, who did a fantastic job running our merchandise table throughout the event — thank you for helping everything run smoothly and making our guests feel welcome!
We also want to give a warm and heartfelt thank you to Don & Sue Hall, who traveled over 400 miles from Kentucky just to attend our event! Who would’ve thought our little gathering would reach so far and bring us such wonderful new friends? We are truly honored that you made the trip to be with us — it means more than words can say.
I’d also like to personally apologize to all our sponsors, demonstrators, farms, and vendors for not being able to thank each of you in person this year. I’ve been dealing with some back issues that limited my mobility, but please know how truly grateful I am for every single one of you who made time to be with us.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to take many pictures this year, so we’d love for you to share your personal photos with us! If you and your family had fun, send us your snapshots — we'd love to see them.
It takes a lot of hard work — from just our small family of four — to prepare the grounds, set up the equipment, and organize everything. But when we see families laughing, learning, and making memories together, it makes it all more than worth it.
📅 Mark your calendars: Next year’s event will take place on September 18th & 19th, 2026 (the 3rd weekend of September).
We warmly invite senior groups, church groups, school groups, and families to take a day trip and step back into the old ways of farming with us. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
Again, thank you all for your continued support. If you’re interested in volunteering at next year’s event, we’d love to hear from you!
With gratitude,
The Davie Farm Fest Family
