Unearth a Story was a tremendous success. Each child received a passport and designed a personal flag, creating a unique keepsake of their experience. One of the program’s most memorable highlights was a visit from the Azalea Trail Maids. The children were delighted to dance, interact, and pose for photos with them.

Designed for youth but open to all ages, participants will create and play their own drums in an interactive, hands-on experience led by Wayne Curtis (Mobile Alabama Africatown Drummers) and LaDarrel Bell (Excelsior Band 1883).
