Unearth a Story was a tremendous success. Each child received a passport and designed a personal flag, creating a unique keepsake of their experience. One of the program’s most memorable highlights was a visit from the Azalea Trail Maids. The children were delighted to dance, interact, and pose for photos with them.

We had a great time celebrating Cinco de Mayo at the Mike Dow Amphitheater! The Hispanic American Business Association brought the energy and kept the crowd dancing. What a fantastic community event by City of Mobile: Parks & Recreation.

Designed for youth but open to all ages, participants will create and play their own drums in an interactive, hands-on experience led by Wayne Curtis (Mobile Alabama Africatown Drummers) and LaDarrel Bell (Excelsior Band 1883).
