💡 WE HAVE IDEAS… NOW WE NEED RANDOLPH COUNTY! (really we'd take people outside of Randolph County, too! 😁) 💡
One of our goals is to continue improving the Randolph County Fairgrounds —not just for Fair Week, but for the entire community.. that's what it's all about afterall!
We’ve been brainstorming projects (big & small) that could make the grounds more functional, welcoming, safe, enjoyable, etc. You know we've posted about needing gutter work before (and we still do), but this is more than that! Check out our list below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
Things like:
🔌 Electrical improvements
🚰 Plumbing / water projects
🛠️ Building repairs & improvements
🎨 Fresh paint & cleanup
🌳 Landscaping & beautification
💡 Lighting
…and plenty of other ideas, too, of course!
But here’s the fun part: We don’t have to do it all ourselves.
Randolph County is FULL of people who know how to build, fix, install, create, weld, wire, paint, landscape AND make things happen! We weren't named the MAGIC CITY for nothin'!
So we’re wanting to build a 'Volunteer Skills List' of local people who may be willing to lend their expertise when the right project comes along. Because when local people invest their time, talents & ideas into something that belongs to all of us… we all benefit. ❤️ 💙 And let's be real... this could be a great opportunity for a vo-tech, father-son duo who wants to teach a trade or 2, volunteer hours, apprenticeship, etc.
