A big thank you to all the people who spent the day running stops, and to all the volunteers who greeted visitors and provided safety at intersections, in particular the entire Moapa Valley Amateur Radio club and Moapa Valley Rotary who jumped in to fill out last volunteer positions.
Without all of you, this event would not have been possible. Thank you very much!

Today is the day! Come out and ride The Loop at Moapa Valley today from 10 AM to 6 PM with your family. The event is free and the people at the many stops are excited to welcome you. Paper maps will be handed out at the 2 parking locations: Lin's Supermarket and the Fairgrounds parking lot, but you can also start your ride from anywhere and use the online map available at http://www.theloopatmoapavalley.com.

We still need volunteers to guard intersections from 2 PM to 4 PM. Please consider volunteering a few hours to help make the event a success. You can signup to volunteer at http://www.theloopatmoapavalley.com as well.

Unfortunately the youth rodeo stop was just canceled. A statewide quarantine on equine events was issued by the state veterinerian due to an equine virus outbreak. Foodtrucks are being relocated to other parts of the route. The paper maps have already been printed so these will reflect some innacuracies when they are handed out to riders on Saturday. Make sure to check the online map for the latest lineup of stops on the day of the event. All other stops are unaffected.
Update: Equus Ranch has canceled as well due to the quarantine and not wanting to take the risk of their horses get sick, and so has the 4B Ranch stop.

We are still in dire need of volunteers to meet the requirements for participant safety at critical intersections for The Loop at Moapa Valley family bicycle event. If you are available on Saturday, March 23rd, please do consider volunteering for a 4 hr block of time, from 10 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 6 PM to help make this free community event a success.

We just learned that the high school's rodeo club will be hosting a rodeo at the fairgrounds on March 23rd, so we have integrated them into our route, and participants will now be able to enjoy free rodeo events on top of everything else!
